The Logistics Coordinator will work under the direction of the Operations Manager to lead shipping, receiving, and inventory workflows. Primary responsibilities of this position include: (1) Lead development and maintenance of effective outbound shipping processes to ensure accurate, visible, and on-time delivery of orders, (2) Ensure incoming freight is tracked, routed, and warehoused appropriately, (3) Identifying opportunities for operational improvement(s) in logistics workflows, (4) Maintain efficient warehousing operations, fulfill check-in and check-out requests in timely fashion and (5) other responsibilities or projects as assigned.
Responsibilities:
Assume responsibility for executing safe, daily shipping, receiving, and warehousing operations in a fast-paced R&D and pilot production environment
Manage warehouse operations, including timely fulfilment of material requests
Act as front-line resource to verify the safe receipt, storage, and handling of raw materials used in 24m’s processes
Maintain accurate inventory of critical materials and parts, working with Data, Controls, and Quality stakeholders
Lead shipping and receiving activities for critical equipment, collaborating with Facilities Manager and Engineering Operations team members as needed
Prepare outbound shipments to domestic and international recipients, including dangerous goods and hazardous materials, with a keen eye for compliance

Required Skills and Experience
5+ years directly related work experience. Highly qualified and motivated candidates with less experience may be considered
Demonstrated experience facilitating import/export for key materials and equipment from sites around the globe
Documented DOT and/or IATA training for shipping of hazardous materials/dangerous goods strongly preferred
Experience with safe shipping and receiving of hazardous chemicals
Demonstrated history of having a strong attention to detail
Working knowledge of import/export requirements, proven ability to work with stakeholders to complete timely clearance of commodities through customs
Thrives in a fast-paced environment. Exercises good time management and prioritization skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills required
Demonstrated familiarity with purchasing and inventory management best practices
