Responsibilities
Coordination and supervision of hospital and patient care services in the absence of unit Nurse Managers, AVP Nursing & Chief Nursing Officer. Organizational planning, nursing practice and assessment, distribution and management of staff, education of staff and disciplinary action as indicated.
Requirements: - Bachelor of Science in Nursing highly preferred.
- RN in the State of New York.
- 5 years’ experience working as a RN in med-surg and/or rehab.
- Minimum 2 years’ supervisory experience required.
- Requires ability to adapt well to changing priorities.
- Must possess excellent organizational skills and requires advanced interpersonal/communication skills both orally and in writing.
- Active BLS required.
- CRRN certification preferred.
- 13 shifts per 4-week scheduling period. Must be able to work 4 weekend days within the scheduling period.
- Night Shift 7pm-7am.
