Element has an opportunity for a Mechanical Technician to join our team. This is a great opportunity to develop your career within the Aerospace & Defense business unit. This Technician role is within a customer lab in Lansing, MI.

• Interpretation of internal and client requirements
• Operate complex mechanical testing equipment
• Maintain accurate and systematic records
• Perform other duties to fulfill the demands of the laboratory
• Application of instrumentation and the setting up of complex data capture equipment
• Report writing, data interpretation and analysis

• Associates Degree in an Engineering field
• Experience of working within a Mechanical testing environment is advantageous
• Must be a US Citizen to work in this facility
• An understanding of a recognised Quality Management Systems such as ISO 17025 is beneficial
• Self motivated Technician with the ability to multi task, organise and work under the pressure of a busy commercial mechanical test laboratory

NOTE: This role requires a US Citizen as this position has access to export-controlled commodities, technical data, technology, software, and services. U.S. citizenship, U.S. legal permanent resident status, protected person status under 8 U.S.C. § 1324b(a)(3), or U.S. Government export authorization is required.
