This role is part of a major transformation program in the Worldwide (WW) Sales organization supporting strategic planning and tactical execution of user requested enhancements to sales processes and supporting capability functionality on the Salesforce platform and integrated applications.
As a Program Management Office (PMO) Program Manager within the WW Sales Business Process Re-engineering (BPR) team, you will play a key role in the fast paced delivery of business value that is both cross-organization and highly visible. This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking to play a key role in delivery of quality products and user experiences with a focus on delivery of process and functionality enhancements required by sales and operational users globally.
The PMO ensures that the global sales organization drives major technology programs efficiently and effectively. The role works closely with the WW Sales leadership, Geo sales leadership, IS&T, Finance, Operations and external vendors such as system integrators.
Key Qualifications
- Minimum of 8+ years of first hand experience in cross functional, large scope, and highly integrated technology transformation programs. Prior program management office (PMO) experience in major global technology transformational programs is required.
- Proven experience with the Salesforce platform. Salesforce-related program management experience - agile project methodology with scrum and sprint planning experience is required.
- Deep Portfolio/backlog management experience - working globally with stakeholders to drive enhancement prioritization and delivery is required.
- Solid project leadership skills combined with strong business acumen and analytical skills.
- Strong attention to detail. Deep understanding of project, program and portfolio planning and delivery. Organized, with a natural inclination for both strategic and tactical planning and turn strategy into tangible deliverables.
- Sensitivity and good understanding of organizational issues and challenges. Knack for fostering positive relationships and ability to communicate at all organization levels.
- Expertise leading cross-functional teams, workshops and large meetings to drive consensus.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication and presentation skills, to audiences of varying seniority. Excellent active listening skills. Ability to influence others and move toward a common vision or goal.
- Flexibility to work in ambiguous situations, highly matrix environments, and support cross program work-streams.
- Great teammate and able to work collaboratively with and through others. Ability to establish and maintain trust, credibility and build strong relationships.

Description
- Portfolio Management: This role will manage the portfolio of user requested enhancements for sales processes and functional capabilities on the Salesforce platform (“program backlog”). The role will manage the global processes and cadence of business reviews to prioritize, plan and deliver program backlog.
- Process: Define and manage the end-to-end process for suggested process and functional enhancements from user feedback capture, through prioritization through requirements definition to technical delivery.
- Teamwork: Define operational engagement with all necessary teams (business and technical) for constant alignment that supports confident planning and delivery of backlog. Work with technical program managers on backlog on capacity plans, build plans development and delivery execution.
- Delivery: Work with cross-functional and technical teams globally to collaborate on delivery of prioritized backlog to defined schedules while providing executive status with consistency. Ensure clarity of business requirements for prioritized enhancements with confirmation of cross-functional teams to support requirements.
- Tooling: Manage and maintain a current centralized backlog to data quality standards to provide reporting and visibility to key stakeholders. Prioritize backlog to development teams - plan sprint builds and manage sprint scope for technical releases. Differentiate between backlog that can be delivered at rapid intervals versus backlog that must be delivered on longer release cycles.
- Product Quality: Work with technical teams to assess impacts of technical enhancements proposed to maintain product quality and excellent user experiences, avoiding technical change conflicts and potential user experience disruption.
- Results: Define and implement backlog management metrics to enable informed decision making, identify trends, and track progress to targeted results. Provide transparency to any challenges and risks encountered with a focus of continuous backlog process improvement.
- Communication: Create and drive communication plans to provide complete transparency to backlog planning and delivery for global stakeholders.
- Change Management: Work with Change Management Teams to assess user change impact and definition of robust user change management plans inclusive of user communication and training as needed.
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree required

- At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $136,500.00 and $205,800.00, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
