Job description

A technology services client of ours is looking for Electrical Department Manager on their ongoing projects.

Below are the additional details of this role:

Required Skills:

Min. 10 to 20 years experience or more; industrial-type projects (hazardoflammable environments, industrial equipment); lighting/grounding/power distribution, load studies, arc flash studies, electrical area classification; personnel management.
Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university; Professional Engineer (PE) license and Industry related training certification(s) preferred
Ten (10) or more years working in at least three (3) of the following service areas: Chemicals, Petrochemicals, Polymers/Resins compounding, and Manufacturing
Fluent knowledge of all facets of industrial power systems including project execution including conceptualization, funding, design, construction, and commissioning
Thorough working knowledge of industrial power and lighting systems and industrial control systems
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
Familiarity with AutoCAD, Navisworks, AutoCAD MEP and Revit software
Possess a working knowledge of the National Electrical Code, NFPA 30, NFPA 497, NFPA 499, IEEE 1584, Building Codes and NFPA70E
Experience with power systems, overcurrent protection, protective relaying, power system device coordination, Arc Flash Studies, control wiring schematic diagrams and detail control drawings
Ability to specify power system distribution equipment thru 35kV
