Job description
A healthcare system in the Bronx is actively seeking a patient-oriented and compassionate Pediatric Neurologist to join their staff.
About the Opportunity
- Schedule: Monday to Friday
- Hours: Standard business hours
- Setting: Hospital based
Responsibilities: The Pediatric Neurologist will:
- Provide care to an urban underserved, under privileged including minority population
- Provide outpatient care, inpatient consults, shared on-call, as well as resident and medical student education
- Provide consults to all departments and divisions in need of services by a Pediatric Neurology specialist, including but not limited to the following areas: Pediatric in-patient floor; Pediatric Emergency Department; ; Pediatric clinics; etc.
- Participate in all activities as required, including, but not limited to Resident Education, Quality Assurance and Joint Commission activities, among others
- Perform other duties, as needed
Qualifications: - Current unrestricted NYS medical license
- Board Certified/Eligible in Pediatrics and Infectious Disease (MD or DO)
