We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Director of Global Real Estate to lead our real estate strategy and operations on a global scale. Reporting directly to the Vice President of Real Estate and Workplace Solutions, the Senior Director of Global Real Estate will help shape our physical footprint to support our strategic objectives and growth initiatives. The Senior Director will be our in-house expert with respect to real estate negotiations and agreements.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop a comprehensive global real estate strategy.
  2. Lead the identification, evaluation, and negotiation of real estate opportunities, including leases, acquisitions, and dispositions.
  3. Manage relationships with landlords, brokers, developers, and other real estate partners to ensure optimal terms and conditions throughout life of leases.
  4. Partner with the internal teams leading the design, construction, and renovation of office spaces and studio facilities to create inspiring and functional environments for employees.
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Business Unit leaders, Finance, Legal, HR, and Operations, to understand and support their real estate requirements.
  6. Prepare and present real estate strategies and proposals to senior level leaders and executives.
  7. Develop a comprehensive database of real estate assets, leases, contracts, and financial information.
  8. Stay informed about global and regional market trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in real estate management.
  9. Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies related to real estate transactions and operations.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Business Administration, Finance, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
  2. Minimum of 10 years of experience in real estate management, with a focus on commercial leasing, acquisitions, and portfolio management.
  3. Prior experience leading global real estate initiatives for a large, multi-site organization.
  4. Strong financial and legal acumen, with the ability to analyze complex real estate transactions and develop sound business cases.
  5. Strong collaboration skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team of professionals.
  6. Ability to engage with executives, employees, and external partners.
  7. Proficiency in real estate management software and tools, such as lease administration systems, financial modeling software, and geographic information systems (GIS).
  8. Flexibility to travel domestically and internationally.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS The base salary ranges listed below are for the defined geographic market pay zones in these locations. If you reside outside of these locations, a recruiter will advise on the range and benefits for your specific location. EA has listed the base salary ranges it in good faith expects to pay applicants for this role in the locations listed, as of the time of this posting. Pay offered will be determined based on numerous relevant business and candidate factors including, for example, education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, and business or organizational needs. BASE SALARY RANGES • California (depending on location e.g. Los Angeles vs. Sacramento): º $193,000 - $300,850 USD Annually • British Columbia (depending on location e.g. Vancouver vs. Victoria): º $158,800 - $243,600 CAN Annually • Washington (depending on location e.g. Seattle vs. Spokane): º $184,250 - $271,700 USD Annually Base salary is just one part of the overall compensation at EA. In the US, we offer a package of benefits including paid time off (3 weeks per year to start), 80 hours per year of sick time, 16 paid company holidays per year, 10 weeks paid time off to bond with baby, medical/dental/vision insurance, life insurance, disability insurance, and 401(k) to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity. For British Columbia, we offer a package of benefits including vacation (3 weeks per year to start), 10 days per year of sick time, paid top-up to EI/QPIP benefits up to 100% of base salary when you welcome a new child (12 weeks for maternity, and 4 weeks for parental/adoption leave), extended health/dental/vision coverage, life insurance, disability insurance, retirement plan to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
