Our strategy includes private real estate debt and equity investments for our portfolio and co-investments in private debt and equity investments with our strategic partners. Headquartered in Newport Beach, California, Wilshire lends and invests in primary and secondary markets nationwide. 

Opportunity

We seek Loan Originators for our Private Real Estate Debt Funds. 

Responsibilities

The position is responsible for all aspects of debt origination, including sourcing, reviewing, structuring, due diligence, and closing loan opportunities secured by multifamily, seniors housing, and commercial real estate.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree
• Minimum 5 to 10 years real estate lending experience
• Track record of successfully originating senior bridge loans, mezzanine, and preferred equity investments
• Strong contacts, relationships, and standing in the real estate community
• Experience with multiple property types; experience with seniors housing strongly desired
• Financial modeling experience
• Excellent sales, negotiation, and business development skills
• Strong deal management skills
• Team player with positive attitude, strong judgement, and high motivation
• Professional appearance and demeanor
