Job description

Join our esteemed team of healthcare professionals as a Registered Nurse (RN) in our Acute Care department. Responsibilities:

• Assess patients' conditions and collaborate with healthcare team to develop personalized care plans
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
• Monitor and interpret patients' vital signs and report any changes to the healthcare team
• Assist physicians during procedures and surgeries
• Ensure patients' comfort and well-being by providing emotional support and addressing their concerns
• Document patients' medical histories, symptoms, and observations
• Follow infection control procedures and maintain a clean and safe environment
• Educate patients and their families about their health conditions and self-care practices
• Stay abreast of advancements in nursing practices and participate in professional development activities

Requirements

• Valid and active RN license in the state or a compact license
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited program
• Minimum of 6 months of experience in acute care
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-stress environment
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to collaborate effectively with members of the healthcare team
• Basic computer skills
• Additional certifications relevant to acute care nursing are preferred
