This position offers a hybrid work schedule which includes telework days and in office days at a DLI office building.
This position services the division’s technology needs; consults with management on technical program issues and process improvements; and analyzes and addresses workflow barriers to achieve unit and division performance objectives.
Duties include:
Three (3) years experience* leading work through collaboration with colleagues and stakeholders to effect systems and process improvements.
Applicants that meet the above minimum qualification will be further evaluated on the following:
Experience in:
Facilitating and consulting on continuous improvement and organizational change initiatives
Systems software analysis, problem-solving, and issue management
Policy and procedure development and analysis in support of continuous improvement goals
Skills sufficient to conduct comprehensive audits, analyze data, develop reports and communicate results.
Communication skills sufficient to train, inform and interact with diverse internal and external stakeholders regarding systems improvements in person, over the phone and via email in plain language.
Ability to organize and perform effectively; set and manage priorities autonomously and with others within demanding deadlines and changing/fluctuating circumstances.
Ability to communicate effectively with individuals with a wide range of backgrounds, who do not share your same culture, ethnicity, language, or other common experiences.
Knowledge of Minnesota CCLD, and agency policies and procedures.
Experience leading projects or teams.
Experience in testing systems, creating requirement documents, creating testing plans, coordinating testing.
Experience developing and presenting training materials and procedures.
Experience with iMS, ProjectDox or SWIFT
Experience with report writing tools such as Microsoft SSRS and Report Builder
Ability to give direction and receive feedback.
Language skills other than English (such as Somali, Spanish, Hmong, Karen or ASL).
