What You Will Be Doing

**This position will report directly to the Chief Estimator and will work closely with Regional Leadership. Projects will be heavily focused on public works and will range in cost from $5M-50M+. Tasks will include (but are not limited to):

- Analyzing subcontractor and vendor quotes to confirm scope & pricing
- Preparing conceptual estimates and budgets for projects to include analysis points for internal discussion
- Updating unit, labor, material, and equipment rates in cost databases
- Developing subcontractor relationships for the solicitation of bids
- Helping to guide the bid strategy and assisting with preparation of bid packages

What You Need for this Position

7+ years of relevant estimating experience with a self-performing contractor and:

- Bachelors Degree (Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or similar)
- A successful track record bidding and winning projects 20M+
- Proficiency with HCSS, B2W, or Hard Dollar REQUIRED
- Extensive experience bidding municipal projects including WWTP, pump stations, pipeline, earthwork, and wet utilities
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite including MS Project and Excel
- Familiarity with Agtek, Civil 3D, and/or Primavera P6
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen
- Drivers license in good standing and reliable transportation
