DEPARTMENT: Environmental (Housekeeping and Laundry)
SUPERVISOR: Administrator
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Environmental Supervisor is responsible for the overall management of the housekeeping and laundry staff. He/ She works to ensure that the facility is clean, organized, and free from clutter and trash and that laundry operations occur timely and per regulation. One Environmental Supervisor may be over both Housekeeping and Laundry Departments or two employees may split the responsibilities. This description includes responsibilities for these departments collectively, but specific duties are outlined separately. Duties under "Environmental" applies to both the Housekeeping Supervisor and Laundry Supervisor positions.
Education and/or Experience
o Experience in Long-Term Care or Offshore setting preferred but not required.
o Management Experience preferred
