Location: Houston, TX (Located in Alief, a lively suburb in Southwest Harris County)
Contract Type: W2 Contract
Duration: 4-6 months
Work Schedule: On-site with a 4/10 schedule

We are seeking a Power BI Specialist on behalf of our esteemed client, to play a crucial role in leveraging data analytics to advance major capital projects within the engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) sectors. This position, based in the thriving community of Alief, TX, offers a unique chance to apply your analytical prowess and data visualization skills to impact high-stake projects directly.
Your Mission
As our client's Power BI Specialist, you will:
- Design and Execute: Craft and maintain advanced reports and dashboards in Power BI, turning data into compelling stories that drive decision-making.
- Collaborate for Success: Engage closely with diverse teams to understand and refine data requirements, ensuring alignment with the client s strategic objectives.
- Master Data Visualization: Develop intuitive visualizations that distill complex data into clear, actionable insights for all stakeholders.
- Optimize Data Integrity: Elevate report performance through continuous enhancement, ensuring the reliability and accuracy of insights.
- Empower with Knowledge: Create and update documentation and training materials, empowering end-users to fully leverage the Power BI platform.
- Streamline Integration: Facilitate the seamless integration of Power BI reports with other business systems, enhancing data visibility and decision-making processes.
Who You Are
- Experienced Professional: With at least 3 years of experience in dashboard development, you have a track record of success, preferably in EPC or closely related industries.
- T echnically Proficient: Your toolbox includes advanced SQL, DAX, and a solid understanding of data sourcing, especially with date-related data. Proficiency in Oracle and MS SQL is essential.
- Educationally Qualified: You hold a Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Effective Communicator: You possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of working independently and as part of a team.
