Clay Cooley Volkswagen of Richardson is always looking to add qualified Automotive Service Technicians to our growing team! The Service Technician should be at a competent level and can perform diagnostics and repairs in all areas, including specialized areas of repair. Job Duties:

• Examines, diagnoses, and discusses the malfunction of the vehicle with the Shop Foreman/Service Advisor for communication to the customers. The Technician provides labor time estimates to the Service Advisor.
• Replaces transmissions and fuel components as needed. The Technician repairs cooling components and systems including engine cooling and air conditioners.
• Plans work procedures in cooperation with the Shop Foreman. The Technician completes story or documentation for customer repairs.
• Conducts routine maintenance work aiming for vehicle longevity and functionality. The Technician maintains strict adherence to dealership policies on customer vehicle care and operations.

Job Requirements:

• Knowledge of vehicle mechanical operations. Pay is based on experience.
• Certifications, Licenses, and local registrations required for the position.
