Job description
DESCRIPTION:
Duties: Build machine learning systems and quantitative models for detecting payment fraud, merchant fraud, and merchant risk. Design and implement knowledge graphs capturing information from third parties, partner data sources, and partner relationships. Drive the complete lifecycle from data extraction, model development through model deployment and production evaluation and maintenance. Collaborate closely with engineering, risk detection, and product teams. Work on technologies like Gradient Boosted Trees, Deep Learning, Tensorflow, etc to innovate new techniques to drive down fraud and provide interpretation capabilities for these models. Debug issues relating to anomalies in model scores causing significant impact on business performances. Perform and implement techniques to auto-train multiple models on a regular cadence. Improve fraud/risk detection capabilities and drag down losses and cut down review volume to reduce manual labor.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum education and experience required: Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field of study. The employer will alternatively accept a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field of study plus 2 years of experience in the job offered or as Software Engineer or related occupation.
Skills Required: Requires experience in the following: Linux; Unix; Python; Google Cloud Platform; Machine Learning; XGBoost; Tensorflow; and Pytorch. The employer will accept any amount of graduate-level research, graduate-level internship experience, or professional experience with the required skills.

Full-Time. Salary: $170,186.00-$215,000.00 per year.
