The Senior Coordinator, Student Support and Admissions coordinates the daily activities of the Office of Student Support at the School of Medicine at Temple University/St. Luke’s University Health Network. Contributes to an office that fosters medical students’ personal and professional development through academic support and advising, career development, student health and wellness, student organizations, leadership and service opportunities.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

PHYSICAL AND SENSORY REQUIREMENTS:

Sitting for up to 7 hours per day, 3 hours at a time, frequently uses fingers for typing, data entry, etc. Frequent use of hands; uses upper extremities to rarely lift up to 10 pounds. Occasionally stoops, bends or reaches above shoulder level. Hearing as it relates to normal conversation, seeing as it relates to general vision, near vision, peripheral vision and vision monotony.

EDUCATION:

Master’s Degree Preferred or bachelor’s degree with related experience.

TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:

Three years of experience in an academic and/or teaching hospital setting; experience in undergraduate medical education preferred.
