Position Overview: Pharmacy Sales Consultant

Job Summary:
At our company, we're in the business of better health, touching the lives of patients in every aspect of healthcare. Collaborating with payors, hospitals, physician offices, pharmacies, and pharmaceutical companies, we build healthier organizations delivering improved care across settings.

As a Pharmacy Sales Consultant, you will play a crucial role in retaining and cultivating current business, winning profitable new business, and aligning with our value-added objectives. This hybrid role requires collaboration with our Community Pharmacy and Health enterprise teams to add value for our customers and our company.

Responsibilities:

Achieve annual budget objectives for the assigned sales territory.
Develop a comprehensive business plan for optimal short- and long-term territory performance.
Lead a consultative sales process from qualification to contract negotiations.
Build a robust opportunity funnel through organic (cold calling) and coordinated efforts.
Provide meaningful contributions to the improvement and development of our company products and services.
Deliver marketing advice, financial analysis, managed care information, and competitive data to customers.
Develop sales proposals, business reviews, and sales presentations for specific products and services.
Cultivate strong relationships with key customers to retain business long term.
Collaborate with cross-functional departments to provide guidance and expertise to customers.
Maintain accurate data in Salesforce.com CRM for real-time sales forecasting.

Requirements:

1+ years of Medical and/or Pharmacy experience.
3+ years of B2B field sales experience.
Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
75% regional travel with 1-2+ overnights per month.

Education:

Bachelor's degree in a business-related field or equivalent work experience.

Critical Skills:

4+ years of sales experience in healthcare (preferred but not required).
Consultative sales approach with the ability to articulate the organization's value proposition.
Proficiency with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) and MS Office Suite.
Strong business/financial acumen, analysis, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
Excellent communication, teamwork, and collaboration skills.
Ability to navigate complex environments successfully.

Working Conditions:

Must be authorized to work in the US unrestricted.
Extensive overnight travel in the region (75% of the time by car).
Remote/Home Office work environment.
Primary territory is Central Florida/Eastern Time Zone.
