Job Title: National Sales Associate – Expert in Winemaking Equipment
Location: Sonoma County, CA (Position involves national travel)
Are you passionate about wine and possess in-depth knowledge of winemaking equipment? Do you have a proven track record in sales, building strong one-on-one customer relationships, and the ability to manage national sales projects? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you!
CANDIDATE MUST HAVE INDEPTH KNOWLEDGE OF SELLING WINERY EQUIPMENT. IDEAL CANDIDATE MUST HAVE A MINIMUM OF 5 YEARS EXPEREINCE IN SELLING PUMPS, DESTEMMERS, PRESSES, SORTING SYSTEMS AND RECEIVING LINES FOR SMALL TO CORPORATE SIZE WINERIES.
Key Responsibilities:
As a National Sales Associate with a focus on winemaking, you will be responsible for:
1. Sales Leadership: Take charge of all national sales projects, ensuring targets and objectives are met. Develop and implement effective sales strategies to maximize revenue.
2. Winemaking Expertise: Utilize your extensive knowledge of pumps, presses, destemmers, sorting lines, and receiving lines to provide valuable insights and support to customers.
3. Customer Relationships: Cultivate and maintain significant one-on-one relationships with clients, understanding their unique needs and providing tailored solutions.
4. Travel: Be willing to travel interstate and out of state to engage with clients, attend industry events, and represent the company in various capacities. This role will involve extensive travel to various winemaking regions in North America to build relationships with new and existing clients.
Qualifications:
1. Winemaking Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of winemaking processes, equipment, and industry trends. Established Industry contacts a plus.
2. Sales Experience: Proven track record in sales, with the ability to lead and execute national sales projects.
3. Customer Focus: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain meaningful customer relationships.
4. Wine Equipment Knowledge: Excellent understanding of wine equipment including pumps, presses, destemmers, sorting lines, and receiving lines.
5. Willingness to Travel: Ability to travel nationally and out of country as required.
Salary:
$130,000 annually + sales bonus
