Controls EngineerToledo, OH$80,000 - $110,00027862Our client is a systems integrator who has a history of success dating back to the mid-1970’s. They are searching for an experienced Controls Engineer to join their team. They are a full-service control systems integrator, and you will have the ability to work on a wide variety of projects for clients in several different industries. You will receive great base compensation along with an annual bonus and great benefits.
The current opening is for a Controls Engineer. Main duties include:- Research, develop, and design electrical components, equipment, and systems
- PLC and robotic programming, development
- Coordinate large projects and typically direct a team of several technical professionals
- Keep track of all project costs and stay within budget
- Work with contractors/customer to oversee and assist the control system installation
- Analyze product and equipment specifications and performance requirements
- Provide technical information related to manufacturing or processing techniques
- Servo and motion control development
- Travel to customer site locations approximately 25% of the time
- Provide end-user training
Qualifications include:- B.S. in Electrical Engineering or equivalent work experience
- Prior experience with PLC, HMI programming and development
- Servo and motion control experience
- Project management background
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience in a similar function
- Ability to travel approximately 25% of the time
- Must be able to work independently
- Highly analytical, detail-oriented, self-motivated
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
