Job Description:

FullscopeRMS helps health plans and insurance carriers grow their businesses with our turn-key solutions for group life & disability, absence management, supplement health and medical stop-loss products.

We are a subsidiary of Sun Life, a leading provider of group insurance benefits in the U.S.. FullscopeRMS also provides group life and disability plans to our clients through the third-party administrator Disability Reinsurance Management Services, Inc., often referred to as DRMS.

The Lead Product Manager will play a critical role on our Product team working day to day with engineers and UX designers to solve problems for our clients by delivering amazing products. You will partner with Product team members and key areas across the business to bring ideas from inception to delivery. The ideal candidate is an experienced product owner for a B2C product and can demonstrate their curiosity and passion for helping our clients achieve lifetime financial security and live healthier lives.


We will expect you to:


• Get to the root of problems facing our clients before jumping to solutions


• Represent the voice of the customer by synthesizing information from multiple channels such as direct client feedback, stakeholder feedback, market research, competitor analysis, and user testing


• Lead a team of engineers through backlog grooming, planning and estimation, and ongoing development by thoughtfully balancing customer needs with engineering capacity


• Maintain a prioritized and groomed product backlog that supports the company's goals and objectives


• Author feature briefs and user stories, conduct acceptance testing and create detailed release notes and wiki-based product documentation


• Work hand in hand with the UX design team to create amazing user experiences and collaborate with product marketing to plan release dates and effectively communicate the value proposition of new product features


• When necessary, work in conjunction with the technical support team to triage and assess production issues, perform impact analysis, and provide support to the engineering team to bring issues to resolution


• Be curious and data driven - contribute to the definition, data collection, and analysis of data for KPIs and product metrics


• Be flexible and able to take on and master new topic areas quickly, run with project assignments independently, but know when to ask questions.


• Be a team player with a strong work ethic and a desire to succeed


Requirements


• Four or more years of professional experience working in a product-related role


• Bachelor's or Master's degree in business management or technical field is preferred


• An agile development practitioner with strong experience using tools such as Jira and Confluence to create user stories and author product documentation


• Collaborative in your approach, appropriately engaging team members to accomplish your objectives


• Flexible to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment in a professional and timely manner


• Excellent verbal, presentation, and written communication skills


• Self-starter that can work independently and part of a team.


• Excellent organization and work breakdown skills.


• Experience in Claims Management, Disability Insurance and/or Absence Management a plus.


• Experience in data, data exchanges and data management another plus.

If you are a California resident, the salary range for this position is:


Southern region: $107,700 - $161,600 annually


Central region: $113,600 - $170,400 annually


Northern region:$121,400 - $182,100 annually


If you are a Colorado resident, the salary range for this position is $102,800 - $154,200 annually.


If you are a New York resident, the salary range for this position is $121,400 - $182,100 annually.


If you are Washington resident, the salary range for this position is $113,600 - $170,400 annually.


The full range minimum and maximum listed in the job posting is tied to the GCF level and job family.
