Job description

2-4 Structural Engineers needed Base pay Bonus potential avg. 10%. Assist in sales and profit by designing safe, accurate, and cost-effective metal building systems. Assist in project meetings, estimating, special project work, and research and development as necessary. Able to work with all departments as an integral part of the team. Responsible for structural design and analysis of all parts of metal building systems, including structural steel, wall and roof panel, secondary members, and stability bracing. Design safe and economical structures. Load determination per applicable codes.
Frame, secondary, bracing, crane, mezzanine, and panel analysis using proprietary software, Communicate design requirements to the detailing department. Review and check structural drawings. Work with other teammates to continue to grow engineering skill set.Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from ABET Accredited University. Successful completion of the fundamentals of engineering exam (or awaiting results from recent testing). Effective verbal, written, and graphical communication skills. Strong aptitude for managing multiple tasks and assignments. Commitment to quality in all aspects of the job. Previous structural design experience with working knowledge of current building codes and standard industry practices. Current Structural Engineer (SE) or Professional Engineer (PE) registration.
