Training and Development Intern -- Summer 2024

Here, you learn how it feels to be in the workplace, learn about our business, participate in the daily activities of the department and become a valuable member of our team. The Human Resources Intern works directly with all functions of the HR department to support the team and become an expert in the field.
Job Details:
What you'll do:
* Learn about our business by attending meetings, huddles and trainings
* Gain exposure to the day-to-day functions and strategy of the Training department including training design & development, training delivery, learning management systems, training logistics, and general training support
* Build relationships, make connections and network with professionals and your peers
* Share creative ideas that will help improve our business
* Assist in creating and exporting reports, analyze data and summarize information
* Assist in creating training materials for a variety of delivery methods
* Send out communications, respond to phone calls/e-mails and overall provide support to employees regarding training needs
* Complete a human resources related project and present final product to senior leadership
Requirements:
* Currently pursuing a degree in Training, Human Resources or related field
* Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite, including Excel, PowerPoint and Word
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
