Job description
Basic Function
Work primarily with various Domestic and International Finance groups and Information Systems (IS) to manage the full lifecycle of IGT’s SAP solution, namely ECC and S/4 Central Finance. Responsibility for other business processes and applications may change as business conditions warrant.
Principle Activities and Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with business partners to document and evaluate the “as-is” business processes and to determine the “to-be” business processes.
- Recommend SAP solutions to align and enable business processes within Information Systems technology strategy, standards, and processes.
- Document requirements for conversions, upgrades, interfaces, business logic, reports, forms, and workflow.
- Configure SAP application functionality (hands-on) as the need arises.
- Perform unit and integration testing on our SAP Development and Quality Assurance servers as needed to ensure high quality solutions.
- Work with collaborators to define and execute user acceptance testing scenarios.
- Ensure appropriate end-user training.
- Act as liaison and problem solver for SAP application issues.
- Assume active role in providing production support and ongoing maintenance within the SAP ECC and S/4 HANA syst including off-hours support as needed.
Skill Requirements
- Demonstrated experience in collecting, documenting, assimilating, estimating, and prioritizing requirements with business input.
- Proven experience in planning and leading testing for Unit Tests and Integration tests, and in facilitating multi-functional, end-to-end business process testing via super users.
- Demonstrated experience managing and delivering multiple projects (sometimes concurrently) involving multi-functional teams.
- Familiarity with PMIs project management methodology or SAPs ASAP methodology.
- In-depth understanding and expertise in SAP FICO modules (required) and SAP AO reporting tools (optional).
- Expert experience configuration of the Fixed Assets module. Demonstrated experience doing ground up configuration in the module, creating asset classes, account determination, posting and non-posting depreciation areas for book and statutory/tax purposes to meet the requirements of the business. Ability to understand and troubleshoot enhancement points in an environment with a complex fixed asset implementation. Ability to facilitate mass update of fixed asset master records by LSMW, SECATT or other methods.
- Advanced Product Costing experience in a manufacturing environment. Ability to support existing results analysis and settlement functions and new configuration as required. Ability to support the cost accounting department for end of year cost rolls and standards changes. Periodic account determination maintenance (OBYC).
- Advanced Project Systems experience regarding settlement processes and related configuration.
- Experience with SAP SD and MM integration points (OBYC account determination) with the FI module and hands-on experience in some basic SD related configuration is a plus.
- Exposure to SAP COPA, SAP Revenue Accounting and Report (RAR), Concur and other modules (nice-to-have).
- Experience with DART, Vertex, GetPaid and Blackline (nice-to-have).
- Experience in S/4 HANA and/or SAP Central Finance solutions (preferred).
- Group meeting facilitation skills.
- Good presentation and interpersonal skills.
Qualifications
- Experience with finance, general accounting, cost accounting, and project accounting processes and reporting.
- 7+ years experience in an IT business/Analyst role.
- 5+ years of development/configuration experience in SAP FICO modules and familiarity with ad hoc reporting tools.
- 3+ years experience in managing ECC or S/4 HANA projects.
- BA or BS in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or another related field.
