Physical Therapist - Per Diem, Inpatient MMC

Job description

Are an experienced Physical Therapist in acute care and looking for a new expereince at a nationally recognized hospital? If so, Atlantic Health System is seeking a per diem Physical Therapist for their Morristown Medical Center location to work various shifts including 1 weekend per month. 

Essential Functions/Responsibilities:

• Evaluation of patients, establish goals
• Frequency and plan of care
• Provide interventions
• Supervise PTA’s and co-sign their notes
• Provide patient and caregiver education
• Document all patient contact
• Bill appropriately

Minimum Education:

• Graduation from an accredited physical therapy program, required

Minimum Experience:

• Acute care experience  in a large teaching facility preferred.
• EPIC experience in a live environment preferred, as well as current internal applicants and/or former students

License/Certification:

• Valid New Jersey License to practice PT, required
• BLS, strongly preferred
