Field Representative (Entry Level)

This position will be supporting our Twin Cities, MN market. Candidates to be considered must reside in MN.
The Field Representative is responsible for conducting lead generating and marketing activities both physically and virtually to achieve sales goals. This entry level position will interact closely with the Sales team and Corporate Marketing to ensure deliverables are executed in a timely and proficient manner to drive results.
Responsibilities:
- Executes internal and external marketing initiatives with focus primarily, on small, local Alliances in addition to event coverage nationally when needed
- Creates and utilizes sound methods to plan and track work, appointments, and commitments; prioritizes tasks by importance and deadline and adjust priorities as situations change; manages time effectively to deliver projects, reports, requests for information in a timely manner.
- Engages in networking activities, including: memberships in professional organizations; attendance at conferences, workshops, and training sessions.
- Recognizes, capitalizes, and pursues activities and opportunities with energy and drive.
- Consistently meets and/or exceeds daily, weekly, and monthly expectations and goals with direction.
- Adheres to the appropriate information security policies based on the sensitivity of company data and report any security related issues.
Account Strategy:
- Provides excellent customer service to corporate Alliances and effectively resolves challenges in a timely manner.
- Maintains market awareness and pursues opportunities; actively seeking information on competitor offerings, programs, and provides and/or assists in building an offensive and/or defensive response.
Implementation:
- Develops, travels to, and conducts informational presentations and special events with prospective and existing corporate Alliances both physically and virtually with local and national accounts.
- Utilizes Salesforce to record, update, and track all relevant business development interactions with potential and existing corporate Alliances.
- Orchestrates activities and appropriately identifies the resources necessary to complete tasks and achieve goals.
- Sets standards for the highest level of professional behavior; leads by example and models success behaviors, a high-performance work ethic, and constant self-improvement.
Collaboration:
- Develops and nurtures collaborative relationships with peers and managers to support the team effort for success.
- Cultivates and maintains a positive team environment.
- Adhere to the appropriate information security policies based on the sensitivity of company data and report any security related issues
Reporting Relationship:
As Field Representative, this role reports to the VP of Workforce Solutions and has no direct reports.
Position Requirements:
- Strong oral and written communication skills with proven ability to interact professionally with team members, stakeholders both physically and virtually.
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
- Sets and maintains high performance standards for self that support the overall strategic plan and vision of the department and holds self-accountable for achieving results.
- Ability to work multiple projects at one time
- Ability to effectively work under tight deadlines independently with minimal direction
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- 1-2 years of sales experience
- In and out of state travel up to 75%
