Job Description

Account Planners work directly with clients and partners across all aspects of digital and offline/linear media planning, buying & strategy development. Additionally, campaign management, multi-media integration/ synchronization, optimization and evaluation will be core components of the role.

The right candidate will move the organization forward by partnering with and managing client relationships, providing effective/efficient media buying, developing innovative solutions, and performance insights to help the delivery and achievement of client's goals -- with excitement!!

Responsibilities:

The Account Planner will be responsible for planning media campaigns across multiple channels, collaborating with other internal digital/traditional/analytics team members. They will:

• Create multi-faceted media plans that excite the client and meet and exceed their objectives - whether branding or ROI driven.
• Manage campaigns across vendors, creative, placements, etc. to proactively deliver the best results for our clients.
• Review, provide input, and take action on campaign results and analytics, demonstrating the effectiveness of the media optimization, and articulating insights based on analytic data.
• Explore and maintain research, innovation and change that affect media planning and buying across all elements of media, including but not limited to TV (linear and streaming), Social, Digital Display/Video, and YouTube
• Supervise and monitor media schedules and contracts with outside media vendors.
• Create and present media specific documents such as RFP's, media plans, objectives and strategies decks, POV's, and other related functions.
• Utilize syndicated research to identify target audience trends (ComScore, Nielsen, Resonate, etc.).
• Provide creative analysis and recommendations when appropriate to improve media performance.
• Lead billing and reconciliation process

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in digital & traditional planning/buying is desired.
• Excellent skills in planning campaigns. Be prepared to articulate your planning knowledge.
• Solid digital media buying experience, work with Ad Networks, DSP, DMP, Ad Servers, Mobile, Facebook and SEM campaigns.
• Strong analytical skills; ability to analyze raw data, draw conclusions, and develop actionable recommendations.
• Proven record of successful media campaigns.
• Collaborative, team player who works well in a team and across departments.
• Time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects
• Strong attention to detail and problem solving.
• An active interest in everything digital, ideally with an understanding of online advertising industry trends.
• Excellent verbal & written communication skills.
• Diligent and attentive to detail.
• Highly computer literate with good skills in all basic Office programs including Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience with Prisma and Media Tools are a plus!

Our office is located in Newtown, Connecticut. Local candidates are encouraged to use our updated office space in Sandy Hook, CT which allows you to take part in our office culture and team bonding that naturally occurs in office. In addition, if you need to take a break from work, there is a beautiful waterfall and serene stream just outside our front door. Candidates from outside the local area, who are able to work during our core East Coast office hours, 8:30am-5:30pm, are encouraged to apply. Our team working remotely is invited to the office at a minimum of two times per year for our Summer Party and again for the Holiday Party. Other team or client meetings may be scheduled at other times during the year.
