YOUR DAY

As a Speech-Language Therapist, you are fully immersed in the dynamic world of communication. You evaluate a range of skills like language, articulation, voice, fluency, and hearing. You are also responsible for creating comprehensive therapy plans tailored to each individual's communication disorder treatment plan.

You actively participate in important meetings such as IEP sessions and department meetings. Meticulous record-keeping, tracking insurance authorizations, and evaluating departmental programs are crucial for maintaining high standards of care. Additionally, you serve as a compassionate case manager, coordinating additional services and supervising clinical fellowship years for staff speech-language pathologists when necessary.

This multifaceted role allows you to make a meaningful impact on the lives of those you serve!

REQUIREMENTS

• Master's degree or its equivalent in speech pathology
• Certificate of clinical competence from the American Speech/Hearing Association
• Current state speech/language pathologist license
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Preferred:

• 3+ years of experience working with young children as a speech/language pathologist
