About the Role: Bob Casey for Senate is seeking an individual to join a growing finance team as our Pennsylvania Finance Associate who will be responsible for assisting the Pennsylvania Finance team to develop and support our in-state fundraising plan.
Under the direction of the Pennsylvania Finance Director and in conjunction with the Pennsylvania Fundraising Managers, this role will support our in-state events program, and help coordinate our donor stewardship program for Pennsylvania donors. This role will additionally support our call time program to help complete donor research and develop call sheets.
Responsibilities:
- Leads drafting invitations for Pennsylvania fundraising events, including creating event links and running them by appropriate staff for approval.
- Creates and updates event trackers for Pennsylvania fundraising events on a daily basis.
- Manages RSVPs for PA events and works with the Pennsylvania Finance Director to ensure updates are shared.
- Assists in managing event universes, by pulling invite list, making event calls, and manages event call time for all staff and interns. As needed at the discretion of the Finance Director and Pennsylvania Finance Director.
- Prepares event materials, such as memos and name tags.
- Responsible for working with the Pennsylvania Finance Director and appropriate members of the finance team on any event follow-up including pledge chasing and thank you notes.
- Manages thank you note program with other finance associates, pulls and sends thank you notes on a monthly basis.
- Staff campaign events in-state, as needed.
- Assists with the Pennsylvania Call Time program as needed by creating and pulling call sheets, following up on calls, and scheduling calls.
- Assists with other Finance related tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and interpersonal skills.
- Dedication to being a team player and trying new things.
- Prior experience with Word, Excel, and Google Suite preferred.
- Access to cell phone, laptop, a valid driver's license, and reliable transportation.
Logistics:
- Level: Associate
- Salary Band: $4500 per month
- Location: Philadelphia
- Benefits: Medical, dental vision plan at no premium upon meeting plan eligibility requirements
- Leave: Paid time off will be available per Campaign policy.
- Hours: Full-time position. This position's schedule will vary based on the needs of the campaign and point in the cycle, and is likely to require evening and weekend work over the course of the election cycle.
