We are looking for a Director, Web Strategy & Optimization to join our marketing team.
This person will drive the web strategy and user experience of the JFrog’s global web presence. This role will work collaboratively with a range of cross-functional teams, including our web development team, content and customer marketing, digital marketing and campaigns, product and technical marketing, and brand and creative to ensure that JFrog’s website meets the needs of our customer audience segments while supporting our brand. This role will balance managing execution with guiding and mentoring teams across web optimization, content, web developers, and visual designers. You will drive conversion increases, traffic growth, and brand consistency in both visual identity and tone of voice. As a Director, Web Strategy & Optimization in JFrog you will...
- Build, inspire, and coach a collaborative team of web UI, optimization, developers, and designers, while driving the evolution of JFrog’s web strategy to meet company reputation, demand, engagement, and enablement goals
- Own the vision and direction of the website to fuel our continued drive growth by improving the effectiveness of the website to increase increase traffic, engage visitors and convert targeted personas
- Partner with brand and creative leaders to enhance our global web presence across all digital touchpoints with an engaging user experience at the core
- Bring your experience and vision to deliver an engaging user experience for our target audiences and personas.
- Manage the continuous optimization of digital marketing performance leveraging data analytics, UX testing and A/B performance testing.
- Collaborate across the marketing team on content development and optimization with the goal of driving engagement and conversion
- Own and enhance web KPIs and reporting cadence to drive data-based optimizations and inform stakeholders on overall web performance
- Own website and landing page conversion rate optimization strategy, partnering with various teams to drive ongoing improvements to the user experience and acquisition
- Direct the SEO strategy and initiatives to grow organic traffic, improve search engine rankings, and build website performance
- Leverage analytics from BrightEdge, Google and user experience testing/research to recommend and drive website and content improvements
- Manage the curation and publishing of new web content to ensure organic relevancy and alignment to business objectives
- Ensure legal compliance across websites, partnering with JFrog Legal team (e.g. copyright and data protection GDPR)
- Lead recommendations and implementation of new and modern digital marketing practices, innovation opportunities, capabilities, and tactics.
To be a Director, Web Strategy & Optimization in JFrog you need...
- Experience in the SaaS/technology industry
- 10+ years of hands-on experience managing and optimizing B2B websites
- Solid track record of achieving and exceeding goals in fast-paced, global environments
- Experience working directly with a devops or security related website or content strategy
- Experience marketing to developers
- Experience infusing content amplification into a content marketing strategy
- Experience integrating user experience considerations into an SEO / content strategy
- Deep understanding of web design trends, industry and conversion best practices, and design-specific technologies
- Mandatory expertise with WordPress, BrightEdge, Google Analytics (GA4)
- Expert knowledge of UI design and web production techniques to help in conversing with design and development teams, experience with Moz a plus.
- Experience with competitive web tools such as SpyFu, SEMRush; and project management tools (e.g. Click-Up, Wrike or Monday); background with Marketo and Salesforce desirable
- Basic knowledge of web applications, programming languages, and web services, such as APIs, CSS, CSS3, cross-browser compatibility, HTML, HTML5, JavaScript, JQuery, PHP, security principles, REST, SOAP, and web user interface design (UI)
- Team manager and player who can adapt easily to unforeseen changes and opportunities; can work effectively across cross-functional teams, and manage projects with stakeholders across time zones
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to clearly and concisely communicate compelling website copy to highly technical audiences
WHAT JFROG CAN OFFER…
- At JFrog, base salary is only one component of our compensation package.
- This position has a base salary range between $210,000 to $217,000. Base salary will be based on your skills, qualifications, experience and location.
- This position also includes an equity package of restricted stock units (RSU). In addition, JFrog employees are eligible to participate in our Employee Stock Purchase Plan.

- JFrog embraces hybrid work: 3 days in office / 2 days remote.
- Additionally, this role may be eligible for discretionary bonuses or commission payments.
