Job description

Wilkes University invites applicants for a Director of Graduate Programs in the College of Business and Engineering (COBE). This cross-functional collaborative leadership position provides lateral coordination within the College of Business and Engineering and the campus community. The Director is responsible for the administrative and advising support for the MBA/Engineering Graduate programs.

The college houses the ACBSP accredited Jay S. Sidhu School of Business and Leadership, offering exceptional undergraduate and graduate programs in accounting, business administration, marketing, sports management with minor programs and concentrations in Business Analytics, Sustainability Management, Supply chain Management, Business Leadership, Hospitality Leadership and graduate programs in MBA, MBA 4+1 and PharmD/MBA Dual degree. COBE is also the home of the school of engineering, which includes a number of outstanding undergraduate programs including civil engineering, as well as ABET accredited electrical, environmental, and mechanical engineering programs as well as graduate programs in Engineering Management, Electrical and Mechanical Engineering.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:

Master's degree in business administration, science or engineering is required. Doctoral degree in a field related to business administration or engineering preferred. The ideal candidate will have at least three years of progressive experience in the administration of graduate programs; or at least two years of direct experience in the administration of an MBA or engineering master's degree program.

Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience.
