Job Description
The IT Process Automation Developer will work in conjunction with the Process Automation team to develop automation requirements and develop automation using Automation Anywhere (and other technologies). This position will be responsible for working with various business owners to document current as is environments including interrelationships and dependencies. Working closely with business stakeholders, vendors and third parties the candidate will work to establish, plan, develop, coordinate and test automations and their dependencies.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop automations in Automation Anywhere, Microsoft Power Platform, Microsoft Azure, and/or any relevant software
- Understand general IT architectural principles, technical designs, and specifications
- Understand business requirements and translate them into specific software requirements
- Build, develop, and maintain highly collaborative working relationships with the business and IT
- Review business processes from end-to-end to identify and eliminate waste, identify risks, and recommend modifications
- Serve as a liaison between IT, vendors, and the business unit to assist in gathering business requirements needed for system modifications and implementations
- Provide project-level analysis and documentation, including business requirements, use cases, sequence diagrams, process improvements, solution design proposals, UAT plans, and workflow diagrams
- Create and maintain issue logs, meeting minutes, meeting schedules, project schedules, and updates
- Collaborate closely with application owners, fellow developers, and infrastructure teams to implement process automation solutions
- Develop and execute test plans and provide necessary guidance to testers during the QA process
- Demonstrate expertise in Business Information Systems (ERPs, CRM, etc.) and guide others in best practices
- Build relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders and vendors
- Be a contributing member of a team of analysts, developers, and support staff that will assist with business process automation activities
- Represent IT in process automation-related projects and leadership meetings, as appropriate
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor's degree in computer sciences, or a similar technical discipline highly desired.
- 5+ years experience (No degree), with a Bachelor's Degree, 3 years of experience working in developing automations in Automation Anywhere, Microsoft Power Platform, Microsoft Azure, and/or any relevant software within manufacturing, accounting, finance, or corporate shared services
- Understand general IT architectural principles, technical designs, and specifications
- Experience providing project-level analysis and documentation, including business requirements, use cases, sequence diagrams, process improvements, solution design proposals, UAT plans, and workflow diagrams
- Must possess a blend of business acumen, consulting-like abilities, and analytical capabilities to identify needs and develop solutions that deliver optimal value to all internal stakeholders
- Experience in collaborating within and across teams
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English, along with the ability to effectively communicate complex initiatives to non-technical colleagues or business leadership
- Able to demonstrate sound problem-solving skills, debugging skills, and business intuition
- You should be enthusiastic, confident, and a good team player who can work independently and make informed decisions to meet project deadlines
- Must be willing to travel up to 30%.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $78,000 to 108,000 + medical, dental, vision benefits starting day one + 401k and PTO. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process. (Full-time is defined as regularly working 30+ hours per week.)
