Job description
The primary duties of the Artist will be to assist existing team members to work on creative projects that meet/exceed project requirements and be inventive in combatting issues that may arise. If you have a great attitude, strong work ethic, excellent communication skills and an impressive portfolio then you may be just the person to join our Creative Services team.
This position will be responsible for:
- Capturing in-game video and screenshots for promotional material in multiple titles.
- Generating assets for social media channels, websites and e-mails to promote products, events and community initiatives (includes static, video and animated assets).
- Producing promotional assets for PlayStation Network, Xbox, Steam, Switch, and 3rd party ads/takeovers while strictly adhering to each platform’s specifications.
- Generates and updates tickets and documentation regarding Creative Services tasks.
- Plans and illustrates concepts by designing rough layouts of art and copy regarding arrangement, size, type size and style, and related aesthetics.
- Coordinates with internal teams, including marketing, in the design concept phase through completion of a project.
- Obtains approval of concepts by preparing rough layouts for review.
- Prepares final layout by marking and pasting up finished copy and art.
- Liaising with front-end web developers to deliver all necessary aspects of your designs and ensure correct implementation.
- Pushing basic graphical updates to live servers using our content management system.
- Coordinates with outside agencies, art services, printers, etc. to complete projects.
- Maintains technical knowledge by attending design workshops; reviewing professional publications; and participating in professional societies.
- Other related graphic/video duties as assigned.
What craft expertise you’ll have:
- Tools/Technology /Knowledge
- Required: Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, primarily Photoshop, Premiere Pro, Lightroom and Illustrator.
- Nice to haves: Experience with After Effects, Audition, Davinci Resolve, using Atomos Shogun hardware and Jira.
- Craft / Experience
- Required: 1-5 years of experience in web graphics production or other closely related artistic fields.

- Required: Associate’s/Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Graphic Design, Web Design, Interactive Media/Design, Digital Arts/Media, or a related field.
- Additionally, you should possess the following qualities:
- Professional, autonomous, proactive, highly motivated, and well organized.
- Ability to receive feedback and direction.
- Excellent verbal, written, and visual communication skills.
- Ability to work under stringent deadlines and notify a supervisor of possible issues in a timely fashion.
- Knowledge of the Entertainment/Gaming Industry a plus!
