MS-IL Staffing & Packaging , and its local client are NOW HIRING a 1st shift Turret Forklift Operator in the Greenwood, Indiana, area!

Pay: $ 17.50 / hour

Shift : 1st, 6AM - 2PM, Monday to Friday

As a Turret Forklift Operator , you'll ensure the safe and efficient use of equipment like forklifts and hand trucks. Key responsibilities include managing Quality Assurance tasks (QA experience preferred), safely transporting goods within the facility, and applying your knowledge of logistics and supply chain management to support business operations.

Job Responsibilities:

• Safely operate equipment for material handling and warehousing, including tasks related to receiving, processing, storing, moving, and shipping parts, materials, equipment, and supplies.
• Ensure the safe operation of equipment when entering and exiting trailers, prioritizing safety protocols.
• Take responsibility for the safety of all personnel within designated safety zones during equipment operation.
• Demonstrate, lead, and assist in the use of machinery for weighing, banding, wrapping, and packaging processes.
• Safely operate, maintain, and service mechanical, motorized, and/or electrical equipment within the facility's work environment.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management to contribute to overall operational efficiency.

Job Requirements:

• 1 - 3 years of Turret Forklift Driving REQUIRED
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Must be able to pass a Drug Test
• Clean background check

Skills:

• Basic mathematical skills
• Ability to read/write and interpret documents
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to operate mechanical equipment in a safe effective manner

Physical Requirements:

• Frequent walking, carrying, reaching, standing, and stooping
• Lifting/lowering, pushing, or pulling various items of varying weight
• Can work from heights of up to 20 feet from floor

Work Environment: Can work in an environment with frequently changing temperatures
