Are you passionate about numbers and excel at financial analysis? We're seeking a Remote Project Cost Analyst to join our dynamic team! In this role, you'll play a crucial part in analyzing project budgets, invoices, and forecasts to ensure we meet all contractual and project requirements.

Position Description:
As a Remote Project Cost Analyst, you'll dive deep into project financials, utilizing your expertise in budgeting, auditing, forecasting, and analysis. You'll be a key player in ensuring compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation (DFAR), as well as maintaining a solid grasp of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and Cost Accounting Standards (CAS). Your responsibilities will span various contract types, from Firm Fixed Price (FFP) to Time and Materials (T&M), and you'll play a vital role in contract compliance.

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field
5-7 years of general accounting/financial support experience; 3 years of program financial support experience
Expertise in project financial functions and Unanet Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP)
Strong knowledge of FAR, DFAR, and contract design and structure
Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and SharePoint
Exceptional attention to detail and ability to multitask in a dynamic environment
Effective interpersonal and collaboration skills
U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Resident status
Ability to handle personal identifiable information (PII) and controlled unclassified information (CUI)
Must be able to maintain or obtain clearance at the required level
Responsibilities:
Your day-to-day activities will involve:

Analyzing project budgets, schedules, and spending to meet contractual requirements
Supporting multiple contracts throughout their lifecycle, from inception to close
Coordinating with governmental agencies to resolve financial compliance issues
Monitoring financial accounts and notifying management of any discrepancies
Interfacing with top management to provide project financial data and reports
Ensuring timesheet compliance and contractor hours accuracy
Collaborating with Program/Project Managers on business and financial analysis
Supporting business development pricing and preparing cost proposals
Maintaining good internal controls and policies based on contract requirements
Tracking subcontractor funding allocations and project expenses
