Job description
• Coordinates the activities of workers engaged in receiving, storing and shipping product in iDS and load documents to supervisors. • Coordinates paperwork from and to outside truck drivers dropping off and picking up loads. • Confers with supervisors/managers to coordinate warehouse activities and dispatch activities. • Processes cuts and communicates shortages to space planners, inventory control and management. • Responds to customers' or shippers' questions and complaints regarding storage and distribution services. • Arranges for necessary shipping documentation and contacts carriers for necessary equipment outbound shipment to ensure on-time billing. • Examines invoices and shipping manifests for conformity to tariff and customs regulations. • Answers phones.
