GPN: GRADUATE PRACTICAL NURSE

Full or Part Time | Day, Evening or Night Shift

** Pay rate between $23-29.66/hour **
(based on experience and shift differential)

What will I do as a GPN : Graduate Practical Nurse for The Wesley Community?

• Serve as a Medication Nurse and/or Team Leader.
• Perform and direct resident care in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines and regulations that govern our facility and as planned by the Unit Coordinator.
• Ensure the highest degree of quality care is always maintained.
• Cooperate with other resident services to ensure the continuity of the residents' total regimen of care is maintained.

GPN : Graduate Practical Nurse Requirements :

• Commitment and genuine interest in the lives of our residents.
• Graduation from an approved school of Nursing.
• Must have or have applied for a temporary LPN practice permit for the state of New York.
• One year of geriatric or medical/surgical experience preferred .
• Experience with medication administration preferred .
