Description:

Currently supporting a project on Fort Hood and needs an Electronics Technician. This will involve using putty to telnet into routers and switches, diagnose problems, and dis-assemble systems as needed. Must have a current and active Secret clearance.

This project will primarily involve the testing, harvesting and/or dis-assembly of internal networking components and equipment. This could involve lifting of up to 50 pounds on occasion.

EXPERIENCE:

2+ years of experience working on routers & switches or very similar electronics

Experience using hand tools to assemble / dis-assemble

Must have current and active Secret clearance

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

MUST HAVE:

HS or equivalent + 2 yrs related experience

Understand how to follow signal pass

Familiar with Cisco switches, routing/switching protocols

Experience using putty

Must have current and active Secret clearance

Experience working on Satellite, Humvee or Command Post equipment

All must have experience with routers & switches, and the ability to work autonomously/self-sufficient when supporting this equipment
