We are currently seeking a Technical Writer to join our team in Remote, Ontario (CA-ON), Canada (CA).

As a Technical Writer, you will use your wide array of knowledge to provide support to our clients. If you are passionate about communication, technology and are solution driven, you will be a great fit for our team. In this hands-on role, you will work closely with a talented project team and our clients to design, build and evolve their business.

Once You Are Here, You Will:

• Document help text, user manuals, technical documentation, web page content, etc.
• Review documentation standards, existing project documentation and determine documentation requirements.
• Gather information concerning features and functions provided by developers.
• Assess the audience for the documents/manuals which are required and prepare a statement of purpose and scope for each.
• Develop a table of content for each document/manual and write or edit required content.
• Document help text, user manuals, technical documentation, web page content, etc.
• Design the layout of the documents/manuals and prepare or coordinate preparation of any required illustrations and diagrams.
• Use word-processing, desk-top publishing, and graphics software to produce final camera-ready copy.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years, within the last 10 years, experience as a Technical Writer. within the last 10 years, with participation in the  role in at least 3 projects with similar subject matter and scale. Previous experience with modernizing business applications would be an asset.
• Must have 3+ years experience working with the following technologies:
  • Power Platform (Canvas app and Power Automate)
  • SPO (SPO lists)
  • M365
• Must be fluently bilingual (spoken and written) in both English and French.

This position requires a valid Canadian Security Clearance.  Candidates can be guided through the application process for this clearance; and must successfully obtain the clearance to fill the position.
