We are currently seeking a passionate and knowledgeable HR Specialist to join our team at our Bridgeport, CT location.

WHAT'S THE SCOPE?

This part-time position will work flexible hours , averaging 20 - 25 hours per week .

YOUR CONTRIBUTIONS MATTER

You will play a crucial role in supporting various HR functions and ensuring a positive employee experience. You will act as a point of contact for employees, addressing their queries and concerns, and assisting in resolving issues to maintain a harmonious work environment. Additionally, you will be involved in the talent acquisition process, assisting in job posting, resume screening, scheduling interviews, and conducting background checks. You will also have the opportunity to contribute to benefits administration, assisting in the administration of employee benefits programs such as health insurance and retirement plans. Attention to detail and accuracy will be essential as you update and maintain employee records, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. Your role will also involve helping to communicate and implement company policies and procedures, ensuring employees are aware of and adhere to them. Collaborating with HR and management, you will assist in identifying training needs and organizing and deploying training programs. You will utilize human resource information systems to support various workflows, including benefits administration, time and attendance, and payroll. Moreover, you will generate HR reports and provide data analysis to support HR decision-making. Finally, you will have the opportunity to participate in HR projects and initiatives aimed at improving HR processes and enhancing the overall employee experience.

WHAT'S REQUIRED?

• Knowledge of HR processes, laws, and regulations
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Proficiency in HRIS software and Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (OR equivalent experience)
• Experience in HR roles or related functions
