Job description

Responsibilities: 

We seek to hire a colleague who can contribute courses to the IWU Biology department and the Environmental Studies program. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching 1) an introductory biology course for majors, 2) an introductory course for environmental studies majors 3) a foundational course in ecology with a field-based lab 4) a foundational course in conservation and restoration biology with a field-based lab 5) and additional courses to reach a 4:4 teaching load.

Qualifications: 

The successful candidate should have a Masters or Ph.D. degree in Biology or related field and a strong commitment to excellence in undergraduate education. Preference will be given to candidates with prior teaching experience at the university level.
