Job description
We are currently in search of a customer-facing Solutions Business Analyst for our long-time financial services client in Tampa. The position will be focused on digital and web-based projects.
Please Note: Candidates must live in the Tampa Bay area as this is a hybrid role (working 3 days in the office and 2 remotely).
In this role, you will document requirements as necessary to design and deliver solutions within an Agile environment working closely with peers and stakeholders on digital initiatives. This is a fast-paced environment.
Duties include:
- Performs solution analysis in the course of technical discovery, solution design, development, and implementation as necessary to develop solutions
- Partners with functional groups within the organization to clarify and document functional and non-functional business requirements use cases, and business rules.
- Creates workflow diagrams that reflect current and future states and performs gap analyses between current and future states
- Participates with the team to define test cases and support testing.
- Develops presentations to business and technical partners to communicate/sell findings and recommendations
Requirements:
- Degreed or related experience and at least 8 years of applicable business/solution analysis experience
- Experience in writing SQL queries
- Ability to read XML and JSON data models
- Able to handle changes quickly, organize, and communicate changes to those involved.
- Experience working with consumer-facing web applications is highly preferred
- Knowledge of Web Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) preferred
