Here is what you will be doing:
- Arrange cars on the lot and ensure car lot is neat and orderly
- Fuel cars and do minor maintenance such as, changing windshield wipers, replenishing fluids, etc.
- Compare serial numbers of incoming cars against invoice
- Inspect vehicles to detect damage and to verify the presence of accessories listed on the invoice, such as spare tires and radio and stereo equipment
- Record the description of damages and list missing items on the delivery receipt
- Assign stock control numbers to cards
- Catalog and store keys
- Deliver sold vehicles to the new-vehicle preparation department
- Other duties as assigned
Here is what you will need:
- High School Diploma/GED is required
- Successfully complete MVR, background check, and pre-employment drug test.
- Valid driver’s license
- Positive attitude and high energy
- Ability to read and comprehend job-related instructions and information whether electronic or paper-based.
- Be able to accommodate the physical requirements of the role: standing 6-8 hours per day and will be exposed to noise, vibration, dust, exhaust fumes, and a variety of other hazardous and non-hazardous materials. This role will spend most of the time outdoors and be exposed to the elements
