Job Title: Jr. Middleware Developer

Location: Wheeling WV (REMOTE)

Duration: 6-9 Months Plus

Mode of Interview: Phone or Video Conference

Seeking a Jr. Middleware Developer for Contract position working REMOTE. Client prefers candidate be in Eastern Time Zone in order to work same hours as those onsite.

Primary Skills :

1. Demonstrable portfolio of work

2. Programming and debugging C# in both .NET Framework and .NET Core

3. Visual Studio knowledge

4. Testing and documenting REST APIs with Postman

5. Testing and documenting SOAP APIs with SoapUI

6. SQL Server - writing queries, stored procedures, triggers using SQL Server Management Studio

7. Versioning software such as Github and GitLab

8. Strong communication skills

9. Azure AD/B2C knowledge

10. Strong problem solving skills

11. Generating reports from data

12. Ability to work both independently and as a team

13. IIS Web Server knowledge

Description:

The Junior Middleware Developer will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and debugging the APIs that are both hosted and consumed by The Client. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

1. Meeting with business team members to perform needs analysis

2. Meeting with externals API producers as needed to establish connectivity and perform API functions

3. Developing internal APIs/Middleware to establish centralized data sources for downstream applications

4. Integrating/consuming APIs into downstream applications

5. Writing technical documentation and testing instructions for completed work

6. Providing ongoing support for existing software and middleware as needed.
