Position Summary: PURPOSE: Our Offer Development Team is growing, and we are looking for a Market Manager to help create and deliver the product roadmap for the next generation of connected fleet solutions.
You will join a Business Segment team with aligned priorities. You’ll be responsible for promoting the development of the business segments (Heavy and/or Light Commercial Fleets) to achieve the objectives of the company according to our strategic plan (PSQ/PSV). You’ll analyze the results of the segment, propose continuous improvement plans, and develop the offers to best fit according to the market.
Working with a Business Segment Director, Global Product Managers, and Project Manager you will have the opportunity to guide the understanding of our customers’ needs, generate new product ideas, lay out specifications for differentiated technology solutions, lead the execution of product delivery, and ensure the product’s success in the marketplace.
Specifically, we are seeking a Market Manager to join our HGV Transportation & Logistics segment - focusing on developing Compliance & Safety solutions for customers with Heavy Goods transports vehicles, specifically leading our Electronic Logging Device (ELD) offer.
Experience in the fleet management space and/or experience with ELD policies will be advantageous for this candidate.

Reports to Business Segment Director Primary Responsibilities: CUSTOMER-LED SOLUTION DESIGN: - Thoroughly understand our market, our customers and our prospects within the segment by spending time with fleet operators and by sharing knowledge with other external-facing colleagues.
- Through this customer insight, come up with product ideas and prioritize them based on our company strategy and the products’ market potential.
- Translate prioritized product ideas into differentiated products, drafting the right product specifications to win in the marketplace.
PRODUCT MANAGEMENT / DELIVERY: - Monitors and analyzes the performance of products & designs and implements actions to achieve goals.
- Proposes improvements in the current product and be responsible for proposing ideas for the creation of new products, aligned with market demand.
- Work with internal & external product owners, R&D leads and with external partners to execute product delivery.
- Liasson with partners, suppliers, and influencers of the value chain of the segment to secure alignment for product roadmap.
LASTING IMPACT: - Define and put into practice the 4Ps of Marketing for the segment
- In partnership with the Segment Marketing Manager, contributes to the develop of the Go-2-Market plans; combining the offer strategy and the product dissemination plans (campaigns, sales material, events, commercial training, etc.)
- Manage products through their entire lifecycle, ensuring their continued success and value delivery to clients following launch.
- Be commercially aware, focusing on development of the business case (vs. market potential) and ongoing tracking of product metrics.
OWNERSHIP & MANAGEMENT - Act as the business owner for your product portfolio, managing the Product Owner(s) and squads to drive efficiency and quality.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required: KEY PROFESSIONAL / TECHNICAL SKILLS - Business Vision: to know and strategically analyze the market and its trends, through visits to customers, constant interaction with the Commercial area and influencers of the network.
- Analytical Capacity: ability to evaluate problems and business models (of customers, indicators of the segment, etc.) in depth, proposing action plans consistent with the company's objectives and with agility.
- Leadership (matrix): ability to negotiate and motivate cross-functional areas of the company involved in the projects in which they are the leader. (cross-functional vs hierarchical leadership).
- Organization: have method to organize and prioritize activities, respecting schedules and goals set, self-motivated and accountable without the need for interference of the manager to collect deadlines.
- Presentation of Ideas: be able to create and give strong presentations to internal and external audiences (meetings, events, trainings) conveying complex ideas in compelling and simplified ways.
- Sound Judgment: strong decision-making skills, with the ability to juggle multiple competing priorities, delegate within the team and work under deadline pressure.
PREFFERED - An understanding of telematics and IoT
- Experience with agile software development practices.
- Experience with the ELD category and Transportation & Logistics compliance space.
- Exceptional ability to collaborate, openly communicate, present and negotiate effectively across disciplines, vendors, partners and customers.
- Demonstrated experience delivering results in a rapidly changing environment, the ability to work independently
Education Required: - 4-7+ years direct involvement in Marketing roles (Marketing Analyst experience preferred)
- Bachelor's degree in related field, Masters preferred
