Volunteers of America-Greater New York (VOA-Greater New York) is an anti-poverty organization working to end homelessness in the New York area by 2050. We operate over 60 programs across New York City, Northern New Jersey and Westchester County including emergency, transitional and permanent housing. Our services extend to families experiencing homelessness, survivors of domestic violence, people living with HIV/AIDS, veterans, youth aging out of foster care, adults with behavioral health or substance use needs, and others in need, including a special education preschool program.

Position: Licensed Clinical P ro gram Manager

The Licensed Clinical P rogram Manager is responsible for the daily operations and overall management of the Community Support Services programs in accordance with the Division of Mental Health and Addictions Services (DMHAS), Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) and Volunteers of America policies and standards.

Minimum Qualifications:

Master's Degree with a license as a Practitioner of the Healing Arts including but not limited to one of the following New Jersey State Licenses

Additionally, position requires a valid state driver's license with a safe driving record and must have at least one of the following.

Salary Range: $65,000 for clinical license & $75,000 for advanced clinical license

Licensed Clinical Program Manager Principal Responsibilities:

  1. Program oversight and staff supervision and training to BA level staff.
  2. Quality assurance/performance improvement activities.
  3. Provision of 24/7 on-call consultation and support to the service recipient in the absence of the Program Manager.
  4. Implementation of evidence-based practices including but not limited to Motivational Interviewing and WRAP to assist service recipients in achieving wellness and recovery goals.
  5. Contributing to the development, implementation, monitoring, and updating of the individualized rehabilitation plan.
  6. Perform comprehensive rehabilitation needs assessments, provided staff are authorized to perform such service under their professional licensure, certification, or credentialing standards.
  7. Offering services appropriate to meet the service recipient needs.
  8. Performing crisis intervention.
  9. Coordinating and managing services.
  10. Provide individual, group, and family supportive counseling services to service recipients.
  11. Skill teaching to assist service recipients in developing skills in various areas that promotes the achievement and maintaining of valued life roles in the areas of social, employment, physical health, education, and/or household domains with the goal the service recipient achieves community integration and remains in an independent living setting of his/her choice.
  12. Ensure all paperwork and monthly reports are submitted in timely manner.
  13. Document all observations, information and services provided to the service recipient within the required timeframes.
