Position Summary:

We are looking for an experienced and highly organized individual to join our team as a Mobile Device Administrator, focused on Apple iOS device management. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing hardware and software to iPhones, iPads, and tablets to users working remote.  Also managing and testing the release cycles within our business applications.

Major Responsibilities of the Position:

• Test application and OS updates to iOS devices.
• Coordinate the release cycles of application and software, ensuring timely and seamless updates.
• Communicate with various stakeholders to coordinate deployment and release activities.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues as needed.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all deployment and release activities.
• Handle system outages and client escalations.
• Troubleshoot issues that arise with the environment including but not limited to working with Straumann-Group employees, third-party vendors and partners.
• Handle advanced Straumann-Group proprietary and related third party technology issues.
• Stay educated on the iOS hardware and software developments.
• Collaborate with colleagues to continually research ways to improve the system deployment processes including policies, procedures, and tools.
• Act as a liaises with Corporate IT engineering team.
• Act as a technical application owner and subject matter expert regarding mobile device deployments.

• Manage mobile device inventory.
• Manage remote actions, i.e, remote wipe, device lock, revoke licenses, retire.
• Assist with vendor relationship with mobile carriers (Version, AT&T and MetTel).
• Travel Domestic and International
• Work early or late shifts (starting 7.00 AM or ending 8.00PM) and weekends when necessary

Work Environment and Physical Demands

 

• General office environment. Nature of job may require considerable walking
• Lift heavy computer equipment (up to up to ~ 30 lbs)

Minimum Qualifications:

• Associate degree in information systems or related information technology field or equivalent work experience
• 2+ years of information systems experience, including hardware and network support.
• 2 + years of proven experience in deploying and managing hardware and software releases in a fast-paced environment.
• 1+ years experience working in an IT helpdesk environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with managing and deploying large amounts of devices remotely.
• Understanding of the iOS ecosystem
• Experience with Microsoft's Intune or other MDM software
• Knowledge of Scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell
• Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure
• Excellent collaborative teamwork skills
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Experience in working a multicultural environment in an international context
• Knowledge of and experience with PC applications. (Microsoft Windows 10, Microsoft Office 365, Mac OSX, etc.)
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational and planning skills.
• Speaking Spanish, Portuguese, and/or German
