Primary Responsibilities:
Marketing Support will complete organizational and management tasks that support the efforts of a variety of projects, campaigns, or events. They work closely with the senior management team to determine the budget for a particular project and the desired outcome for the project. Their job is to perform their job duties with the goal of the project in mind to deliver high-quality results. They may also handle more detailed aspects of a project like event preparation, appointment scheduling or customer service initiatives.
Essential Functions:
- Coordinate Marketing Team Tasks
- Conduct regular update meetings and check-ins with all team members – both separately and altogether.
- Manage and oversee project deadlines and progress across team.
- Delegate new tasks to appropriate team members including promotional submissions, presentations, sell sheets, etc.
- Maintain onboarding process for new brands to ensure successful launch : Assisting in brand development, certification processes, and introductions to team.
- Manage distributor relationships with all brands by sending communications to clients and team and acting on needs that grow from said communication.
- Assist in managing brands business and communicating regular business updates to clients.
- Conduct “Market Studies” to research and survey the market and create presentations with analytical findings.
- Product development and trending information
- Track and follow up with brands on deliverables.
- Send important communications to vendors or the trade across all aspects of business.
- Create and handle distributor and retailer marketing programs, promotional plans, ads, trade shows and any other marketing opportunities.
- Trade Shows:
- Coordinate all facets of distributor, industry and retailer shows for brands including applications, forms, promotions, booth logistics , samples, marketing materials, platforms including correct imaging and partnerships.
- Provide prep meetings and in-show support to both vendors and the team.
- Promotions:
- KeHE Roadmaps – Create and discuss vendors national plans, and present to CM. Assist in managing artwork and implementation of advertisements. Track vendor GBB score and goals.
- New @ KeHE – Strategize with vendors and submit applications while following up with program POs and inventory deadlines.
- Retailer Promotional Plans – create specific retailer promotional plans to support vendors existing business.
- Help coordinate the submission of promotions via retailer/distributor portals ( ProGrocery , NOPAs, MeijerVendornet , Spotlights) and manage the submission of Albertsons/Safeway Deal Input Templates.
- Collaborate and communicate with Export Sales Team to develop marketing programs and materials for Global’s brands.
- Coordinate and apply a social media strategic plan monthly with regular activity and track metrics for growth.
- Keep up to date with latest business/marketing/CPG technology and trends including RangeMe , IX-One, Virtual Shows, Syndigo , KeHE programs (CAREtrade, DIVERSEtrade , ELEVATE)
- Assist in Ad Hoc requests from team including paperwork/forms, image retrieval, product and vendor maintenance, etc.
Qualifications / Additional Skills /Aptitude:
- 1-2 years of experience in B2B marketing, sales, or a related field.
- Digital marketing or social media experience preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively through all organizational levels.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are crucial for documenting requirements, facilitating meetings, and conveying findings and recommendations to leadership.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential for gathering, interpreting, and analyzing data and business processes.
- Knowledge of project management tools to assist in project planning, monitoring, and execution.
- The capability to identify issues, propose solutions, and work with leadership to implement improvements.
- Strong documentation skills for creating clear and comprehensive requirements, specifications, and reports.
- Collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- College degree preferred in Marketing, Communications, or Business-related field.
