Job Summary:
The Marist College Department of English invites applications for a Lecturer in Technical Theatre/Technical Director, starting in August 2024. This is a 9-month faculty position with administrative reassignments to serve as Technical Director on Marist Theatre productions. The English Department is an interdisciplinary department offering classes in theatre, literature, writing, rhetoric, and linguistics.

About the Department/School:
The School of Liberal Arts includes 55 full-time faculty and over 75 part-time faculty. The School of Liberal Arts includes departments in English, history, modern languages, philosophy & religious studies, and political science, and many interdisciplinary programs such as American Studies, African Diaspora Studies, and Latin American & Caribbean Studies. In addition, the ABA approved Paralegal Studies Program and the Pre-Law Program are part of the School of Liberal Arts. The School of Liberal Arts also houses the Center for Civic Engagement and Leadership, the Hudson River Valley Institute, the Weiss Language Center, the Writing Center, and the Marist Theatre Program.
