PURCHASING



Dillabaugh’s Flooring America , has been in business for over 40 years in Boise, Idaho and is one of the largest independent flooring companies in the country. Since our Purchasing Coordinator retired last month, we are looking for someone new to step into the role. As our Purchasing Coordinator , you should be exceptionally detailed, work with a clear sense of urgency, and be an excellent communicator.

You, along with the other Accounting Division team members, will ensure a successful process of purchasing, A/P invoicing, A/R collections, payroll, and other accounting-related tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Review quotes/bids for completeness and proper supporting documentation
  • Export quotes/bids to an order
  • Check inventory before ordering
  • Send warehouse Picking Tickets for in-stock inventory
  • Place orders with mill/supplier for all non-stock inventory
  • Order warehouse stock as needed
  • Review and ensure order confirmations for accurate and received in a timely manner
  • Generate purchase orders once confirmation received from mill/supplier
  • Alert jobs for scheduling once purchase orders are generated
  • Research product status and estimated time of arrival as needed
  • Perform general accounting duties as needed


Qualifications

  • 1- 3 yrs. of purchasing experience a must
  • Strong Excel skills a must
  • Exceptional critical thinking, problem-solving and decision making skills
  • Able to multi-task with great time management for tight deadlines
  • Strong oral, verbal, and written communication skills
  • A positive, kind attitude with a desire to exceed expectations
