We are searching for an enthusiastic associate to join our small animal practice with extended hours. Our highly qualified staff and equipment allow a veterinarian to focus on the medicine. We are a team that appreciates a good sense of humor as well as a professional attitude, and our management structure encourages healthy communication and collaboration both within and between departments. We are also compassionate and serious about providing the best care for our clients' pets. This opportunity is truly perfect for someone interested in general practice & emergency work without overnight shifts or on-call. All available shifts are rotated for a combination of daytime, evening, and daytime only weekends.

Our well-equipped hospital features full body & dental digital rads, ultrasound, in-house Idexx lab, laser cautery unit, and cold laser therapy. Soft-tissue surgeries are performed each morning and you will receive dedicated time in our surgical suite. Under your supervision, RVT's will also perform all dentistry procedures including scaling, polishing, and extractions

Requirements

Our ideal candidate will have 2+ years of DVM experience but we will consider more recent graduates with the right attitude and interests, would be comfortable working independently (after onboarding), managing a variety of scheduled and walk-in cases, and performing spay, neuter, and mass removal procedures at minimum. We are currently looking to fill 3-4 shifts per week, have the flexibility to consider FT or PT candidates. We are looking for someone to bond with us and our community, and we encourage applicants interested in growing into a leadership position. DRAH also strives to nurture doctors seeking to hone their skills in niche areas of veterinary care. Must be a licensed DVM (or have the ability to become licensed) in the state of California.
